I can see them cuffing him and dragging him away, but it just seems strange that they kill him on the spot.They wanted to make sure that he didn't get a chance to detonate a device if he had one on him. Multiple head shots would ensure that, provided of course he didn't have a dead man switch. But I'm sure they've thought about that.

Thats what I assumed, but have not seen anything on the news about it. They obviously had some very hard info on him.
Normally in London, they would pick him up, dust him off, appologize and send him on his way, haha.
