TEHRAN, July 22 (MNA) -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez is due to visit Tehran and take part in President-Elect Mahmud Ahmadinejads inauguration ceremony, the FARS News Agency reported on Friday. Chavez, who visited Iran three times during President Khatamis tenure, will travel to Tehran on 30 July, for the fourth time.
The presence of Chavez in Tehran can strengthen friendly ties between Iran and Venezuela, which have developed closer relations over the past several years.
Ahmadinejad will be sworn as Irans next president on August 4.
One day we will have to step on Chavez----remember you heard it here first.
Will Kim Jong Il show up, or is he too ronery?
Did Saddam get an invite too or was he....Oh yeah, he's in jail.
I think it's more that Chavez needs a reliable source of uranium.
Lock and Load...what's the hold-up?
ROFLMBO
BUMP
They are trying to surround us and make us spend all our efforts fighting the GWOT while the Chinese grow militarily.
It would be a great time for a coup in Caracas while this Commie nut is out of the country. Then he could stay in Iran or take asylum in Cuba until Castro drops dead.

LONDON August 12 (IranMania) - Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a telephone conversation with his Algerian counterpart Hugo Chavez, said his country's support for Iran at international organizations was a proof of the "deep brotherly and lasting relations" between the two nations and states, IRNA reported.
Congratulating Ahmadinejad on taking office as the 6th president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Chavez said his country's policy was based on the principles of fraternity with the IRI and other countries. "We are after a multipolar rather than a unipolar world," he said.
He also called for further strengthening of bilateral ties between Tehran and Caracas as well as closer cooperation between Iran, Venezuela and Algeria within the Group-15 organization.
Chavez expressed hope to visit Iran at the first opportune time.
Ahmadinejad thanked Chavez and on his part called for stronger Iran-Venezuela ties.
