Then why should the Democrats oppose Roberts if he is pro life?

"You have to respect people's positions of conscience," said Dean. "I think Bob Casey's position is a position of conscience." Wait a minute, I thought Dr Deanmento HATED repubs and everything they stood for!!

They're showing up on Christian networks, too (Pelosi). Reid even has his own religious web site.
They're trying to steal the Christian and other morally based voters away from the right.
Unfortunately, every policy they support is Antichrist and immoral. It'll never work. They'd have to dump all their special interest groups and become Conservatives themselves.

"They're trying to steal the Christian and other morally based voters away from the right."
And they really seem to believe that, if they could just find the proper phraseology, and learn to speak the lingo, that they'll be able to capture this "voting bloc."
They'll come up with some real gems along the way, with comical blunders that'll make Dean's impressive run of gaffes seem piddling in comparison.
BRING IT ON, lol.

Yesterday there was a thread about an interfaith outreach to the religious left. Instead of a prayer, it started with a "visualization".
Yep, that'll get those religious voters.

Exactly how do they propose to do it, I wonder?
To: RegulatorCountry
Without the "choice" issue... would the Demwits have an issue? The right to murder your own progeny is their ONLY issue! Everything else is window dressing!
So how do you "reach" out to pro-life voters??? Maybe the could start by confirming Judge Roberts (yuk, yuk).
To: Brilliant
By convincing pro lifers that abortion is A-OK

I don't know how they plan to get the baby sacrificers, the abominations, the tax collectors, the haughty elitists, the whores, the felons, racebaters, the Muslim jihadists, or the sloth out of the equation. That IS their base.

'reach out'?? What are they going to do? Hand out fliers with photos of aborted fetuses? Invite pro-lifers to an open house at the local Planned Parenthood? What a crock!

Democrats need to reach out to voters who oppose abortion rightsThis phrase sums up the Dems problem.
People who oppose abortions, don't see a "right" to abortion.

Exactly right. Many Christians I know oppose the demos because they are rabidly against homeschooling. Almost every family in my church homeschools. How could the Dems drop the teachers unions? It's impossible.
By the way, the homeschool vote is the great conservative vote the MSM doesn't know exists. Many I know vote on this single issue, because we know how anxious the left is to get their hands on our kids education.
And we all know folk who have been persecuted - we are like Eastern Europeans and communism - we remember what it was like. I know more people that vote on the HS issue than abortion.

I'm sure insult-a-day Howie would be just the person to lead an outreach to pro-lifers.
