That's funny. But think about it... Searching people on the street. The airport searches have gotten more and more intrusive. Everyone has to take their shoes off now, and take the laptop out of the case. You can't have a nail file or a cigarette lighter. You know, all the CRAP. If they pull off these street searches they will escalate, comrade. It could get very, very bad. And you know they will search the ones least likely to complain, and also they pretty girls they want to feel up, and let the obvious suspects go right on by. It's what they always do. This is not a good tactic. It's poorly thought out, it will be poorly executed. You watch.
I think your rant is not well thought out. We can not eliminate terrorism but we can make it increasingly difficult to pull off. What's next is a massive new installation of videocameras in public places. Despite the whining of the ex-druggies the law-abiding people will demand it. I have no problem with it. (But then some people say I love the feel of jackboot on my neck)
