Yup. And this is news about what's on tonight, and a call for activism. I say we wipe out the "reality" shows and replace 'em with sci-fi!

There's music on MTV? LOL. Seems like 90% of the shows there are reality type stuff.

"Firefly!! I just recently finished the DVD collection. I missed most of the episodes when they were on T.V. Awesome series. I can't wait to see the movie." The dumb bimbo from the Fox Network who canceled Firelfy needs a good whuppin!

I only hope it's as good as Attack of the Sabertooth.

Shudder.
About the level of most "made for Sci-Fi" movies. Astonishing given how good their "made for Sci-Fi" series are.
Of course, there's Pendragon Films' "The War Of The Worlds," which really needs the MST3K treatment.

LOL
Maybe I was missing something but boy that was one tough movie to watch.

Have you seen the new international Firefly trailer, just up this week? One word: whoa!
Go to www.whedonesque.com, it's linked there. Lots of other good stuff on the Whedonverse daily, too.

Since I'd plunked down the 8 bucks for the DVD - and had nothing better to do for *three* *hours* - I stuck it out. It just didn't get any better. The CG animation of the Thunderchild taking on a tripod was just... sad.
When I see movies like that, I get mixed emotions. On the one hand, it's so bad it is in a way entertaining. But on the other hand, when the realization hits that that was *the* *best* *they* *could* *do,* you just get depressed.
Well, at least they didn't have bulemic Smilodons...

Re: Battlestar Galactica.
I've noticed they've taken to putting the current number of survivors in the fleet in the opening. As things are going, I'll be surprised if there is anyone left in a season or two.
