Wow, was tired when I read this article last night and missed this sentence. What an absolutely despicable comment!
As an aside....... that's the way my mother dressed me and my sister when my father got an award at his corporation back in the mid-'50's.
I say bring back the standards!
How's that? You think it's nice to make that woman shut up and stand there like a statue? Not to mention how miserable the kids must've been. I thought it looked "awkward" at best.
BTW - I'm not defending the article. Just saying that I didn't like the way they were posed by the politicos.
