While I agree with you, I, a Christian, didn't vote for Bush. I always go independent because no establishment party wants to deal with immigration, unfair trade and the national debt.

You are right about that. But I should say that republicans have a strong desire for vengeance, while Christ did not when He was here among us.

I do believe that there are Republicans/Conservatives who have the same sediments and views as you do, and they are legitimate concerns.
I am a Christian also and I did vote for BUSH, but ? I am not going to give the Democrats a advantage or the winning margin to win a election.
I vote for the party that I know that can beat the Democrats at the polls.
Even though, some of us feel that the immigration issues are not being address as we want them to be, there is some progress that is happening ( although, slowly ), at least, something is getting done from some of the good news and developments that I have heard this week.
Whether you voted for Bush or not, whether you agree with the Republicans or not, WE CAN NOT LET the Democrats win, or sit on our butts on NOV 2 2008, and have Hillary coast to a comfortable win on Nov,2 2008.

I think that many Republicans and I or people who love this country are sick and tired of the of the way that the Liberals and Democrats have taken this country down the slippery slid in the last 40 to 50 years, and want to reclaim America back for future generations, and keep this country from going down the slippery slid.
When we have Supreme Court justices making decisions based on foreign law, there is something creepy and wrong about that.
When you have liberals and democrats who want to sell our country's soul to the UN, there is something wrong about that.
When you have Liberals/Democrats who want to destroy the traditional marriage and have same sex marriage as the law of the land, there is something wrong with that.

He threw the money changers out of the temple. Jesus wasn't some liberal wuss. He was totally capable of making judgments and drawing lines. Enabling is a form of evil, helping a person to stand spiritually against evil is good. I don't see that as "vengeance."
