I'm for interment, rather than internment.

But in all seriousness, no, your idea isn't feasible let alone Constitutional. Muslim Americans aren't like Japanese and German nationals during WW2. However, I do believe we should seriously restrict all immigration from those Middle Eastern countries that tend to have a lot of extremist Islamists. And all foreign nationals with strong ties to Anti-U.S. Islamist organizations should be deported, as well. U.S. citizens who are Muslim should not be overtly discriminated against, but certain Mosques should be monitored for extremist rhetoric. After all, there are laws against treason here in America, and calls for the downfall of our government and Constitution are certainly treasonous, and not within the bounds of 1st Amendment protection.

This is what should be done:

1) Cancel all visas for citizens of Arabian peninsula countries, Iran, Algeria, Egypt and Pakistan (this is a simple executive order).

2) Require all persons who are citizens of those countries, who no longer have legal status in the US, to report for detention and classification.

3) Issue special visas to those whose presence in CONUS is vital to national security.

4) Repatriate the rest (or intern them in POW camps, I don't care).

5) Issue a bounty of $500 on all citizens of states affected by above orders, who must be delivered ALIVE to US government control at detention facilities in Nevada and Utah.

6) After sixty days, shoot to kill immigration law evaders.

These are simple, rational, legal and constitutional measures to prevent jihad in America.

That any of them would be in the slightest degree controversial tells you how much trouble we are in.

Nah, internment costs too much money. Besides, they'd whine.

Better - since they want to turn the whole world into an is-slimeac hell-hole, give them a good dose of it. Send them to some mo-slime country. Any mo-slime country.

Afghanistan comes to mind....

Is internment on the table?

Nope.

Short of a WMD we'll continue as we have since 9/11. But that won't be sufficient for the jihadi's.

A WMD attack, anywhere on the planet, equals extermination planetwide. Not organized. Not planned. Simple reaction and survival instinct.

The fifth era of mankind will be born in blood and turmoil and the statanic followers of Muhammed shall be the most hated on the planet.

This is NOT original with me, by a long shot, so don't hit abuse. Do a little research. Not moonbat or bircher sites. Mainline history will be sufficient. Two of the "major religions on Earth," as recognized by the "impartial" UN have this as specific prophecies.

Seems like they might just have been given a little whisper from above on this one.

Does the name Cassandra mean anything to anyone?

"Is Internment on the Table?"

I think is done underground, if I'm not mistaken.

I just wrote a short essay called "Is it time yet?" to ask if it was time to deport all muslims.

Nothing in it was threatening, but the thread was promptly yanked.

I wonder why internment is an acceptable subject but deportation isn't?
