They'd probably have the same complaints about Ted Kennedy if President Bush nominated him to the High Court."

Okay, now you did it. The nightmares are coming tonight.

It begs the question.

Why do conservatives think Left hysteria is the mark of a good Justice? I am in favor of Robert. I want him confirmed. I enjoy Left hysteria same as the next. But my opinion of Robert is NOT determeined by how the Left reacts. They are idiots. Dodo birds are not a benchmark anyone should base their opinion on.

Second, interesting news from Dan Bartlett in discussion with Hugh Hewitt. Apparently Ted Kennedy advised O'Connor she did not need to respond to questions on abortion. Why would he do that unless he had knowledge of her opinion? It certainly isn't stopping demands Robert's answer the question. So it would seem the scuttlebutt making the rounds into mythology that everyone was deceived by O'Connor is as untrue as the mythology people were deceived by Souter. G.W.B. apparently saw right through Souter at the time.

I would love if someone went back and researched the REAL history of just how stealth they candidates actually were since the small minority is attempting to make the case against Robert's.
