Still no claims for responsibility that I've seen. That makes me think that the Londoners got lucky with a bad batch of explosives today...

I am incredibly impressed with the Brits ability to track down the perpetrators so quickly. Kudos to Tony and the running of his country.

They have literally thousands of cameras in public areas.

From Story
One Sky News correspondent reported that officials said the explosive device on the bus appeared to be made of TATP, the same highly unstable material used in the July 7 bombings. A large area around the bus had been cordoned off.
Police told people in the area of the bombs to get off their cell phones. The concern is that the phones, which work on radio frequencies, could set off potential leftover bombs.
Talk about stupid. I assume the police also turned off their radios? If it won't go off when you intentionally try to detonate it, it sure as hell won't go off from the whimpy radio in a cell phone.
Missing in all this coverage (or lack there of) is any indication as to wether the explosives were on people or simply planted under seats on the subways.
If on people, did NO ONE have the courage to tackle one of them when it was clear it wasn't going to go boom?
Perhaps we could send a delegation of airline stewardess over to help the Brits.

If they follow the pattern that I've been watching, their next Western attack will be IED's on major city streets.

Hmmm. A lifetime in prison first before meeting the 72 virgins. Do you not get the virgins if you die of odd age in prison?

Didn't I hear that passengers did tackle at least one? He wrestled free and they pursued him.

They seem to be having difficulty recruiting suicide bombers in large quantities.
I bet some of the bombers in London today lived, for example.

An unidentified man is detained by armed British police officers outside the security gates of Downing Street in London, in this image from TV, Thursday July 21, 2005. An alert earlier Thursday closed three underground stations and a bus in east London. London's police chief later said that the arrest of the man outside Downing Street was unconnected with the earlier attacks on the public transit system. Britain's Prime Minister Tony Blair has appealed for calm and London's police commissioner confirmed Thursday there were four attempted explosions in the city in what he described as a 'serious incident' involving three tube stations and one bus.(AP Photo / via APTN)

I think a backlash is coming in the UK. Tony on the one side, and Muzzies on the other should beware of the British People.
Check this. "War Crimes Trials" for Brits for roughing up Islamofascists, begin, less than 2 weeks after Islamofascists bombing of London!

Liberal Political Correctness and Hypersensitivity to the Terrorists and Their Supportive Cover Communities will be the death of many of us before it can be reigned in and finally annihilated.

Other reports indicate that when the bombs failed to go off, passengers attempted to subdue one of the bombers but he escaped.
One guy dropped the backpack and jumped off the 2nd level of a bus and ran down the street with wires extruding from his sweater.

Well, at least they've got the right headlines. These would never fly on the New York Slimes.

Hi TKNB-
Here are some of the Norwegian culprits you've come to expect in these terrorist bombings. Everyone be alert for swarthy-looking criminals like this carting packages and backpacks:

It is GREAT to at least be able to catch one or two of these zips that got in the wire, before they themselves were blown to bits or the contents of their explosive cargoes could not be fully examined. Just look at these little rats being flushed out, chased down, and apprehended. I hope the brits fly them out ASAP to some other nation for more, er, effective interrogation to get to the bottom of their operating structure and future plans.

What is so funny is that our media attempts to portray the Brits as liberal to the core and protectors of "civil rights" (this term is always misused) and now they are wanting to deport muslims who incite hatred through preaching and they are the ones with big brother watching. And damn if it doesn't work. Hmmm.
