Just been listening to an eye witness on the BBC. Very interesting. It sounds like the detonator's have gone off in rucksacks but the bomb itself has not. The man ran and to the best of her knowledge was not caught.

Lucky escape for those invovled. I'm in a central London hotel at the moment and but for the odd siren it is very calm. Very glad I do not have to travel home tonight as I imagine this will affect the transport links.

BBC Radio is reporting that only detonators exploded, no bombs.

In PC-Britain, if a bystander did that, he would be arrested for assault.
