Quite the contrary--four possible bombs, possibly none resulting in death, one injury reported may be the bomber. These are much improved statistics compared to July 7.
There is only one injury reported, and may be the terrorist who attempted to detonate the bomb.
Nail bomb exploded at Warren St. Station - one injured.
Three stations evacuated.
Street bus - windows blown out - no other injuries.
I think the western world ought to simply begin by expelling every single visa carried by people from the Arab world.
Then, we need to create a large pool of water about 10 feet deep and 500 feet wide along the Mexican border and erect a 100' wall on either side of it.
Then, we stock the water with alligators and border patrol agents take the responsibility of feeding the gators.
Then we construct and manage the same project on the Canadian border.
They sure don't know how to stop and deport illegals, so we need to redefine their roles.
I've had enough.
There is an intelligence summit underway with Blair and his intelligence chiefs....this was staged to embarrass him..
Someone is sending a message.
..just catching up. But one thing I know, is this is no way to live, and you can bet the terrorist scum want England and America to experience everyday life in constant terror and death, just like their ugly world.
Sounds like The Gang that Couldn't Bomb Straight.
" I hope someone had the presence of mind to grab him for the cops."
Just been listening to an eye witness on the BBC. Very interesting. It sounds like the detonator's have gone off in rucksacks but the bomb itself has not. The man ran and to the best of her knowledge was not caught.
Lucky escape for those invovled. I'm in a central London hotel at the moment and but for the odd siren it is very calm. Very glad I do not have to travel home tonight as I imagine this will affect the transport links.
Explosion on bus blew out the windows, so my guess is the injured is the bomber:-)
Bus driver on #26 Bus says no injuries; windows blown out. (Reuters)
Initial report (often wrong) is that one guy was wearing his (backpack) when it went off.
Windows of bus #26 blown out 1:30pm. No injury on bus known of at this time.
What scares me is that it seems unlikely that all three bombs would be "duds." Perhaps, as suggested before, the explosion was not meant to kill people - immediately, but carried something more frightening. Biological? Something that in the coming days will prove deadly?
I don't know how that guy ever got elected and it will be interesting to see whether he's re-elected.
Sorry wrong pic, trying to put up a pic from Sky New that shows where the incidents occured.
So Al Qaeda is tormenting London every two weeks?

EXCERPT
Ivan McCracken, a passenger on a Victoria line train at Warren Street station, smelled smoke and described "extremely frightened" passengers running into his carriage after a small explosion occurred in a man's rucksack.
Mr McCracken spoke to a witness who was in the carriage where the explosion happened, and said: "There was this man, a man who was a young man, who was holding or wearing a rucksack, I don't know if he was standing or sitting. The rucksack was blown open by the force of the explosion, or whatever it was. The man looked extremely dismayed, alarmed and made some exclamation, I don't know what it was.
"The train was only 15 seconds from pulling into Warren Street when this happened, so we arrived normally and there was an orderly evacuation. The escalators were working," Mr McCracken told Sky News.
Good summary.
OK, why didn't the passengers pummel this guy into hamburger? Come on people, this is the chance we've all been waiting for!
