So their leaders yell daily about how they will destroy America and it's never mentioned ... this guy makes a statement and it's BIG news.
Nope, no bias here.

...He called it "frightening" to "retaliate against the birthplace of Islam for individual criminal acts or acts committed by groups that are condemned by Islam." Hmmmm. Ali-baby, I must have missed that condemnation by Islam. Who is Islam's spokesman anyway. Can you point me to the cite where I can find this important revelation?

When the Spanish conquistadors came to the Americas, they conquered huge empires with small armies by using the old "divide and conquer" strategy. The conquistadors allied themselves with some tribes, while taking out other tribes. At the end, they subjugated all the tribes.
If the US is going to win the war against Muslim terrorism, we must ally ourselves with the 'moderate' tribes, while we take out the 'radical' tribes. After we defeat the worse offenders, the rest will fall in line.
Tancredo realizes that it is not wise to fight all Muslims at the same time; he's just so clumsy politically to keep his tongue in check until the right moment.

If they spent half this much effort going after terrorists, we wouldn't be in this situation in the first place!

"I find it strange that such a comment comes from someone who represents a civilized people,". The comment should be rejected by civic societies, the Congress and President Bush, he said."
But I would be concerned if it reaches a point where America believes it has to retaliate with nukes. For example, if one of our cities is attacked. Civility be damned. Then, yes I would be very concerned.
So, terrorists don't attack our cities or our interests and this wont happen. Pretty simple.

Someone please tell me why we should care what these Islamic nations think? Inform me when they not only permit but protect the right of Christians and other non-Muslims to freely and openly worship within their borders and I'll pay attention to any criticisms they may have about Tancredo.

The Muslims can threaten to destroy America, but when we challenge the threat back .. it's not so funny anymore.
I think I agree with Tancredo on this point. Why not threaten to blow them up - since they think being blown up is such a great thing ..??

dead-on accurate and should not have succumbed to the urge to back away from his recommendation.

There is just something really amusing about that sentence.

Uh, yes if our cities are attacked with nukes or bios. Then I bet most Americans would feel this way.
So don't do it. Or tell the terrorists that you are giving aid and comfort to to not do it.

If the Muslims got as wound up about their imam's saber-rattling as they are about Tancredo's, I'd actually give a good gosh damn about their bellyaching.
As it stands, they don't...and, likewise, neither do I.
