I met him once. He was very cordial. I asked him if he really played the pipes in the final scene of Star Trek II. He replied with a twinkle in his eye, "No, laddie, I just moved my fingers a bit."
I hope he beamed up and not the other direction. I wonder if he is with that big vulcan looking god now from Star Trek V or VI or whatever one it was.
