You seem to have missed this point Ann made. We have seen repeatedly that the Rats in the Senate don't do anything unless a poll tells them to. They know they are on the losing side of the Filibuster fight. I cannot believe that Roberts, being so solid on Roe v Wade, is going to turn out to be a Souter clone. I'm not shooting the guy. I'm just not planting wet slobbery kisses all over his rear end like so many are willing to do. I have not seen, or read, all the details of his career, but it will all come out in time. Seems that some of the "conservative" positions people are touting in his favor are positions he took as an attorney on behalf of clients. We'll see...and I truly hope my skepticism is unfounded.
