It's not you. Many of the Pinko signs are getting more tame, and also more lame.

Pinkos are like a candidate who tries to pose as a centrist, running from his record so badly that he completely muddles his message.

Pinkos are trying to conceal their radical support for "the Iraqi resistance" (their name for the terrorists who bomb our troops, purposely kill Iraqi civilians, and chop off the heads of civilian contractors). We won't let them conceal it.

The taming is almost like a squirrely smartass who finally gets his turn on stage; suddenly at a loss for words and trying to get the audience to like him.
