Schumer went on to say how hard it was to predict how a Supreme Court justice would turn out: “Even William Rehnquist is more moderate than they expected. The only ones that resulted how they predicted were [Antonin] Scalia and [Ruth Bader] Ginsburg. So most of the time they've gotten their picks wrong, and that's what we want to do to them again.”
Don't be fooled by their temperment - they don't have any ammunition left - they spent it on Rove/Plame-gate.
Senator Byrd will vote for Roberts - he's from a red state - as will Nelson. Look to more Blue Senators in Red States - that will tell you something.
Which reminds me why I want Bush to nominate Janice Rogers Brown.
Byrd is already the only senator to vote against BOTH black supreme court justices.
Why not go for the Triple KKKrown.
