I have a fair disgust for Leahy but I'll tell you that what was so clear in this joint press conference with Schumer is that Schumer feels his 8 years in the Senate trumps Leahy's 31 - in regards to decorum and one-upmanship. Several times Schumer "filibustered" Leahy in mid-sentence. Schumer is so power-hungry and arrogant (reference his audacity to do a Presser with Joe Wilson and agreeing that the Plame thing was not a partisan issue but a "national security issue") that he showed a distinct disrespect to his senior colleague. Schumer is totally classless.
