Did you notice the picketers already outside the Supreme Court? They have nice printed signs that say "extraordinary nominee, extraordinary circumstances." They were apparently ready regardless of who the President nominated. Can't let the Left frame the issues. Can't let this be decided by liberal pressure groups.

Oh well, the die is cast. Lines are being drawn sharply right now and truth is going to be in very short supply, inversely related to the media coverage allotted. I sure hope Bush took ample opportunity before the announcement to "look into the soul" of this nominee a little more thoroughly than he did for Putin, because this guy, should he jump this hurdle, will be around for my grandchildren

For America's sake, let's win this battle.
