Most dynamite contains some amount of nitroglycerine with oxidizers and binder material in a cylindrical form with a buff or white-colored wax paper wrapper. Common sizes in Oregon range from 11/4" x 8" to 2" x 16".
Over time, the dynamite will "weep" or "sweat" it's nitroglycerine, which can then pool in the bottom of the box. Crystals will form on the outside of the sticks. THIS CREATES A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. While the actual possibility of explosion without a cap is minimal - do not move or handle. Call for assistance with disposal immediately.
