I don't know the year model of the car but did it have an inside trunk release handle? One of those boys was 11 and I've seen some very resourceful 11 year olds, something doesn't seem plausible. How 'bout kicking the back seat in, at least to get a little more air? An 11 year old can cause lots of damage to some of those panels, make lots of noise too. Many unanswered questions.

What about the stories of the plastic bag over one kids head and the cement bag over them. I just dont se how they could search right there and the kids did not make nay noise.

It was said on an earlier thread that the car is a 92 Toyota which doesn't have an inside trunk release. It does have lock/unlock selector levers so the trunk cannot be accessed through the passenger compartment, which is from where they say the boys entered the trunk. Why these weren't set to lock is up to the person responsible for the car. They aren't hard to set.
