Can police just start looking where ever they want to? If my neighbors kids go missing can the cops come into my house and check around for them? Or more to the point, pop my trunk and check it? They could easily look in the windows, but if these kids passed out after 3 hours of sitting in a trunk in the hot sun they weren't making noise and it seems to me the cops don't have the authority to search trunks.
