Was it one of Nixion's two failed picks? (I think he ended getting Lewis Powell on the court). Clement Haysworth? maybe? or something like that.
That would be Clement Haynsworth from Virginia, nomnimated by Nixon but rejected by the Senate followed by Florida Circuit Court Judge Harold Carswell who also got rejected followd by the villian of Roe v Wade.
