I don't mind brilliant people who are poor public speakers. It indicates hyperlexia. Hyperlexics are incapable of dishonesty, and very difficult to socially persuade.

I tend to agree, but as a trial lawyer I can tell you that juries don't agree. My point is that confirmation would be difficult for Jones because she does not comes across well in settings even far more congenial than Senate confirmation hearings.
