Glad to hear it.

I don't mind the hot, it's the sticky that is getting me.

I promise - no tripping or falling for me today :)

I don't mind the hot either and the sticky would get to me, too, especially if I had a cast on.:)

LOL.

I am holding you to your promise.:)

Thank you both!! It works :)

Thanks for your thoughts about my ankle. I have good days and bad days - yesterday was a very good day until I lost my balance and fell, and so today is a bad day.

There is one thing worse than the sticky with the cast on - bug bites..........horrendous.

A friend of mine is picking Jax up from camp and bringing her 2 daughters over this afternoon...so she's going to help me get outside and we're going to let the girls play in the pool....basically I want them to empty it out - the ground is not as level as hubby thought it was and so it needs to be moved.

I agree!

You must have one of the above ground Pools, like I have and I remember what a chore it was to get the ground leveled, since ours is a hard sided one that you actually have to dig an inch or two into the ground.

At the time I was wishing we would have gotten a soft sided one that would have been easier to set up,but I was worried our cat would put a hole in it,like he has done with the kiddie pools.

It's one of the soft sided, above ground pools. Not a real big one - 3' deep 12' around, but really the perfect size for us, at least for now. We had wanted the next size up, 3.5'deep, but they were out of them.

We had given Jax a choice, did she want swimming lessons again this year - or did she want her own pool...when she said her own pool, it became a no brainer.

I have the same size pool, just hard sided and it is big enough for us.

I love it when things go smooth when giving your kids a choice.

With us it was a trampoline or pool and my daughter chose the pool, which was my preference.LOL

She's been making noises about a trampoline also, but friend who is picking her up for me this afternoon has one - but her kids have been talking about a pool. I think we are going to be able to work something out here for the summer!!!!

Unfortunately, at least for the next few weeks, I can't have the kids here in the pool unless I've got another adult with me. Until I get rid of the cast, I can't tell her to just bring her girls over unless hubby is already home from work or she wants to hang out.

I am glad my daughter has outgrown that notion after she saw a friend get hurt on one of the trampolines.

I guess they were goofing around and one of her friends landed funny, thank god it wasn't a major injury, but enough to make her change her mind.

That happened after she already decided to get the pool and we were trading of pool and trampoline usage with friends and everyone was happy until that unfortunate incident.

That sure is a bummer, but it is better to be save then sorry.

Ouch.........

I'll let her play on her friends' trampoline - I'm not getting one. They scare me.
