It's still speculation at this point. While I worry as much as anyone that Bush will screw us, I haven't thrown in the towel yet. IIRC Bush surprises us with most of his nominees (some good some bad) so it may well be someone we aren't thinking of at the moment.

[concerned about politics]

I was watching the news this morning, and they were saying Bush is making a nomination just to change the subject and move away from Rove. So what is he suppose to do? Bring his administration to a complete halt while the democrats try to destroy his friend because they simple don't like him?
Gawd, lefties are dumber than hell.
