Karl Rove had been provided with Wilson's wife's name (Valerie Plame) by journalist Bob Novak, who also heard of Ms. Plame's role in securing the Niger job for her husband. In response to Novak's overall account, Rove replied, "I heard that, too."

"I heard that. too." is neither confirmation or denial of anything, other than Rove saying that he had heard the same rumor.

But, of course, the MSM will never frame it that way.

Sad part is Wilson and his wife will walk away free. The L/MSM will in the future whenever conveniant still point the finger at Karl, like he got away with something he really did and should have been imprisoned. And lets face it literally tens of millions of people will not be the wiser.

Here's what still bothers me about this leak, no matter who did it. Anyone associated with Valerie Plame in the past, here or abroad, has now been outed as well. This can't be a good thing. I really do believe that politics ought not to get in the way of national security. This is why I'm hoping Fitzgerald really digs to the bottom of this and comes up with some serious indictments.

The CIA didn't even place enough credence on the Wilson report to pass it along to the administration. Wilson didn't come to any conclusions at all.
