Your rant may be considered a premier post by DU standards, but, the rest of the world mourns another mind lost to drugs.

Actually I was born and raised in New Hampshire. It was a very conservative state and most of it still is. It actually has a large population which leans almost libertarian. Unfortunately Massholes moved up in the early eighties to avoid huge property taxes (which is odd since libs hate lower taxes) and they have mucked the state up.

That theory is as good as any! ;-)
Doesn't make much sense. But then, most troll rantings don't.

*sigh*
Same went for my state, Vermont. Only more so. I just left it. The northeastern corner is still very conservative, but of course doesn't run the state politics.
NH has a better chance of recovering, though. Especially if some of the libertarians would vote Republican once in awhile just as the lesser of two evils (in their eyes). But we'll see.

I miss N.H. but only in the summer. Fortunately I go back once a month to watch the sox play. (I know they are in Boston) but I always visit my old stomping grounds of good ol Derry N.H.

He grew up in NH. And he's Republican. She's a twit.
