I was at Claire's for a birthday gift today. Claire's, if you don't know, is a store with lots of accessories for girls from 10-14. Claire's has earrings, hair bands, cool school supplies, etc. It's a preteen shopper's dream place. If it came from Claire's it's automatically cool.
Now, understanding all that, I went to Claire's today. They had a selection of t-shirts, keychains and posters which said, Nerd, Dork, or Geek. So, I guess it is ok for little girls to be any of the above.

Geeks, dorks, and nerds are still uncool but the cool kids will wear fake glasses and "nerd" logo merchandise as long as it came from a genuine cool store.
