I also recently left the Republican Party for the Constitution Party. I still vote Republican in almost all cases, but wanted to add to the numbers of the CP. If enough people leave in protest, perhaps the Republicans will see the light?

Didn't we try this experiment with Ross Perot? The result...Bill Clinton elected!

And Bush has grown government even faster than billyboy. And his "patriot" act has eroded the Bill of Rights faster, as well.

The Republicans might do well to embrace the Constitution and small, less intrusive government. You know, like it says in their platform.

Bill Clinton elected!

Who absolutely continued the destruction of our private property laws and the implementation of sustainable development, which was started by Bush Sr. when he signed the Rio Accord with the United Nations.

Tell me whats is the difference?

What's even funnier is that 13 years later the Republicans STILL haven't learned.

This 'experiment' was almost a success. Just one failure shouldn't give cause to accept a defeatist attitude. If anything, it showed that the monopoly can be broken.

Our Constitution requires 3 branches of government with one having two chambers. Can someone be so kind to point out to me where it requires two, mush less any political parties?
