how 'bout that guy, he cops to a misdemeanor for stealing and destroying classifed documents, gets a 10K fine and three years suspension of his clearance?

The "three years suspension of his clearance" is very specifically timed to allow him to resecure his clearence when the cRATS take back the White House in 2008.
