I've heard he has a photographic memory.
But now, a new tinfoil hat theory has come to mind, even better than the other.
Because of the CIA's failure to update employee status files regularly, the devine Ms. Plame was still technically under Non-Official Cover when she began getting out the news where she worked. Even though she shouldn't have been covered by the law that everyone's screaming about, she still has signed a ton of confidentiality agreements, not a few of which probably preclude her from disclosing where she works. Enen though the CIA appears to be somewhat remiss in updating their personnel status files, perhaps Ms. Plame violated the law by letting people know where she worked and is about to lose her pension, if not her freedom.
Of course, this is all idel speculation while Tiger runs away with the Open Championship.
I'm going to have to catch that later tonight.
Well, considering Tenet blew it so bad and Plame was supposed to be a WMD agent it would make her look just a bad considering no large quanities of WMD have been found in Iraq!
I think we'll eventually find that Cooper's wife, dem operative Mandy Grunwald, is up to her eyeballs in it.
Thanks, Dog. I saw Barone's report, and I feel confident he knows what's going on. He is one of the most reliable reporters on TV.
If you can recall the station and the date and time, that could be important.
I believe it. I was about 7th in line to get that autographed book. The people in front of me were from all different states and every time someone came up it was the same question, "Where are you from?" followed by, "What county?" Then he tells the people how their county voted.
When he got to me he was even more specific, siting specific areas of the county.
Maybe you had better go back to DU to post that article, because no one here is buying it. The article is full of misleading half truths and repeats flat out lies.
Remember, this was a long time ago, and at the time was no big deal. I don't remember hearing about any leak, and Wilson's second, updated book wasn't released until May(?). Had I known it would be important later, I would have paid more attention. It jogged my memory when the news claimed Cooper said "Super Duper secret" to Rove. That's what I heard the on air reporter say about her sneak peek. She said something like "Super secret sneak peek." "Duper" could have been there as well. I wasn't too concerned at the time. I already knew all about Yellow cake.
Maybe Fitzgerald will find a leak elsewhere, or something before that. To make the leak "illegal", it would have to go back to 2000 and the Clinton administration. Because I can't remember the actual date of the news I saw, I couldn't tell you. At the time, there was no talk about a leak, or the reporter would have mentioned it in her review, too.
Yes, I know!!! I was just serfing the stations, and I saw a woman orgasmic (and I mean really giddy) and talking about Wilson and yellow cake. That's why I paused. I thought maybe there was new news or something. Instead, it was a "Super secret sneak peek" Wilson book review. That's why I was looking at the Capital building behind the reporter. It looked pretty at night. I wasn't too interested in Wislons book and his yellow cake fantacy. The reporter didn't mention a leak. Just the credts to Valerie Plame, his wife, and what else was in the book - like his wife being CIA.
LOL!
Do you think someone posted a thread about it here or at DU????
What??? Is this true? Cannot believe that this has not been mentioned before...Mandy Grunwald Matt Cooper's wife?! Geez...let's get this on Fox News!
Stay tuned. I hope the media is humiliated. Hummmm, don't hold your breath. These Bush-haters, conservative hating sharks have no shame or integrity. No wonder they have no credibility.
I think your analysis is pretty close to the truth.
I've believed for some time that this will reach a point where it will become an embarrassment for the MSM and the Dims, and the whole thing will disappear down the the memory hole, just like it never happened...
correction: the Knight-Ridder reporter(s) who wrote the article thought so at the time.
The article refers to a schism within the Administration over Iraq. According to that article, the "administration official" could have easily been none other than Ms. Flume herself. It's a very slanted article.
No. There's no proof yet of the first book. Without proof, only Fitzgerald could get that info. (It may even have been a typed up copy and not even printed or copy writed. If so, THAT would make me wonder why Wilson would do something that !! THAT would be a real mystery!).
DU would have their blinders on anyway. If they can't see potential consequences 5 minutes from now, I doubt they would have the mental capacity to go back years.
Targets of Grand Jury investigations do not appear before the Grand Jury unless they're willing to take the heat of questioning & cannot take the 5th ...
I asked why does the MSM&D keep pushing Plame as a covert agent.
That article is what I came up with. Why don't you introduce it to DU since you're so sure the article is FOS!
When President Bush said that I think he was taking a gentle, but firm, jab at the MSM.
