I think you hit something very important. Not only has Wilson been proved a liar, did he leak or describe classified documents when he went on his rant about what he didn't find? I'm sure he had a confidentiality agreements before he went. Also, anyone who even visits the CIA headquarters or branch must sign an electronic form that indicates that anything seen or discussed will never leave the bldg except as permitted by legal authority and those who violate could be prosecuted. I think Wilson thought he was protected under the whistle blowers act but in reality he wasn't because the President never mentioned his non-findings just the findings of the Brits. I really think Wilson and Plame really screwed up and are going to be in some deep do-do.

A couple of years ago I heard one of the media pundits explain that the CIA never had Joe sign a Non Disclosure agreement. I worked a highly classified program most of my adult life and find the disregard for security procedures in this case astounding.
