You know, Cin, he's quite taken with himself, isn't he? I think he fancies himself a James Angelton type. Of course, nobody is quite as impressed with him as he seems to be.
Anybody that stands on national TV and makes a speech about how many hostages you saved has some serious issues.
And I thought that reading of the Bush 41 letter to him was bizarre; it was like "Well, your daddy thinks I'm great, 43!" But if you read the entire Bush 41 letter, it appears that 41 is responding to a letter Wilson sent him enclosing a copy of an article Wilson had written about the first Gulf War. And yet here he was on TV, reading it for all the world to here.
It was quite pathetic; I'm thinking he has some major issues and really shouldn't be in any type of diplomatic position at all.
Of course, he isn't -- and maybe that's why he's after Bush - nobody offered him a job.
I also think he is a king-size ego; it is very reminiscent of John Kerry.
I can't stop thinking about that Vanity Fair article; it was chock full of references to the Wilson life-style(baked brie, view from the expensive house, kutchen remodeling, etc.} Where did they get the money from taht to live that sort of life in DC?
You certainly have him pegged.
