Steele tells Democrats to "pound sand." (or so he should respond).

Steele: Hmmm? "Do I want to be seen with a winner, or to pay attention to these whining ninnies?"
Tough choice.

"Michael Steele has to decide whether that is the kind of person who reflects his values...."Oh, so now D's have a problem with Rove's "values?" Pleeeezzzzeeeee.....I'm gonna puke when the next lib/dem brings up values.....

"Presumably, if he goes through with the fundraiser, he'll have to defend ...Rove, which could cause problems down the road," said Jim Jordan, a national Democratic strategist. "If he cancels, it's a tremendous embarrassment for the White House."
It is all polictics all the time for the Democrats.
I don't know what kind of man this Lt. Governor is, but we will soon find out.
I would think one of the first rules of polictics would be don't take advise from the opposition. By definition they do not have your best interest at heart.

Steele should do it if the RATS promise not to attend fund raisers attended by impeached Presidents or their spouses.

A Dem connected guest on Bachelor's show last nite said this is what the Rove thing is about. Fund raising. The Rat's fund raising numbers are way down. Corporate giving is off 50%.
So as usual the devoid-of-ideas Rat party looks at their counterpart, and tries to put him in jail, in order create some level of parity between the two parties.

"We urge Michael Steele to do the right thing and cancel his event."
The "right thing", what a joke! These Dem losers telling anyone what the right thing is. How pious can they get.
To: Tumbleweed_Connection
Tell 'em "When you contribute, you can ASK to have a vote".
Sounds like Harry Reid in the Senate declaring that the Dems will pick judges.

That's exactly what this is about. They know he recently met with Guliani and they are deathly afraid Rove will agree to assist the next R presidential nominee. They'll do anything to shut him down. In fact, I wouldn't put it past one of the fringies from moveon.org to try to off him.

Who do the liberals hate more, Rove or bin Laden?

"Michael Steele has to decide whether that is the kind of person who reflects his values and those of Maryland," said Phil Singer, a spokesman for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, a Washington-based group. "We urge Michael Steele to do the right thing and cancel his event." The Dems associate with a former KKK member ... a drunk that leaves a women in the back seat to drown .. a pervert who loves to chase after women .. a senator that calls our military, Nazi's, Pol Pots and Soviets
And they are going to lecture Stelele about values??

The politics of personal destruction...demonize anyone and anything they disagree with...to Democrats, politics is war. I wonder if the Senator Frists and McCains realize that...you cannot play Mr Nice Guy with them.
Case in point, Bush 41 caved to their demands on a tax increase and they beat him to political death with it.

No contest.....remember, it was Sen. Patty Murry who said that Binny had built schools, etc....done much good for his "community."
To: All
The best political and true response if for Steele to call a press conference and state that "since 04 the prosecutors in this case have not targeted Rove for any prosecution whatever.
End a story...
....The guy with the sneezly breezly hat in "Fargo"
