Get used to it. Bush has already told us that this war on terrorism will last for decades. We defeated the Axis powers in less time. But defeating a bunch of inbred psychopaths is going to take decades.
None of the families I know with men in this war want to re-up to die in this politically hamstrung quagmire. They are willing to fight, they are willing to die if necessary, but they are not going to be cannon fodder for politicians in a politically hamstrung war. We will sacrifice our sons for freedom, not for political capital.

The reason its going to "take decades" is because the American people are to uncomfortable with what it would take to end terrorism.
1)Shut our borders down 100%.
2)Not allow ANY Muslims immigrate legally for 30 years
3)Encircle Iraqi oil fields with US troops
4)Send special ops to kill those who advocate the killing of westerners.
5)Send special ops into Pakistan and Saudi Arabia whether they like it or not.

None of the families I know with men in this war want to re-up to die in this politically hamstrung quagmire. That sentence is a bunch of bunk from start to finish. All kinds of soldiers are re-upping to win this war against evil. Military enlistments are doing just fine.
And this is NOT a quagmire, no matter how much you contort the truth to try to make it so.
Stop getting your info from Dennis Kucinich and Teddy Kennedy.

Good thing the hundreds of soldiers in Iraq I have spoken with and those with whom I interact on a daily basis don't appear to feel that way.
C'mon, fess up...you've been watching TV news and reading newspapers and believing them, haven't you?
Didn't the Dan Rather and Newsweek debacles teach people anything about believing the media's lies?

As you might be aware, VP Cheney said, the Iraqi rebels/terrorists are in the last stages of their death throes. Thus, there is light at the end of the tunnel. This will be mostly wrapped up by the end of summer.
So let's remember that Loose lips sink ships., and stop talking about all this.
