If you were in vice president Cheney's situation, how would you deal with your daughters lesbianism? Tell her its morally wrong and demand that she change? Disown her and ostracize her from the family if she didn't? The reality of life is that we are all sinners..."judge not least ye be judged". We all should follow Christ's teachings and the word of the lord. The beauty of Christianity is in the acceptance of sin as part of our nature. We must love the sinner, not the sin. Crimes should be punished, murderers should be executed. This is for justice sake. Because a person has sinned, is no reason to not respect their common humanity. Should you embrace their sin ? No. Should you embrace their humanity, and goodness in other aspects? Absolutely. This is not compartmentalizing, its understanding and accepting basic human nature. I have known many heterosexuals who were of extremely bad character. What conclusion am I to draw? I have not related well to male homosexuals that I have come across. They do not appeal to me on many levels. However, I have been able to work with them when necessary, and have found them to be trustworthy, effective employees. I have never had a male homosexual friend, but have had lesbian friends. I have found the lesbians to have just as much honesty and character as many of my heterosexual friends.

I'd love her out of it. I'd get to the root problem of what made her take this route by choice. I would NOT allow her to bring another lesbian in my home. I would not endorse it or wink at it. I'd be very clear on m,y disapproval. I'd also contact Exodus International and have a former homosexual help her to return back to what God had intended for her to be attracted to.

Yeah, I love my daughter and I'd love the hell out of her. People that don't care enough - let them live their life of hell on earth too. I can't speak for the Cheney's. I don't know what happened there. I suspect she was neglected emotionally from her Mom. Or she could have been sexually abused. It's one or the other or a combination of both. NO one is born that way.
