it's very common knowledge who in the neighborhood works for DoD, the Secret Service, DEA, foreign consulates, the FBI, NSA.... and the CIA.
Do the people who work there have stickers on their windsheilds, or some other visible identifiers, like military personnel have?
Those stickers are "must have" items to get on the base without scrutiny.

Up here in the WV hills, where there is an FBI fingerprint ID building with a couple thousands employees, everyone knows who "works for the FBI" because people talk to their neighbors. I can certainly believe that is true everywhere.
I believe Robert Byrd is "Fearless Leader", and I could be wrong although it is definite he used to be "Fearless Recruiter".
