What if someone in the CIA was leaking classified information to influence the 2004 election? Uncovering a crime like that would be worthy of Inspector Javert's doggedness.
I suspect the biggest shoe in this case has yet to drop, and liberal journalists won't be happy when it does.

Thanks, I was not aware of Miller's leak re this Jihadist group!
"This is part of a coup attempt, pure and simple, and the old media allies of the dims are now actively and overtly involved in trying to carry out the scheme.
And the prosecutor in the Plame/Wilson case, Patrick Fitzgerald, is also investigating Judith Miller for having intentionally leaked news of an FBI raid to the jihadi "charity" front group, Global Relief Foundation, and allowing them to destroy their records.
There is every chance, if Fitzgerald pushes this the way he might, that this will be bigger than Watergate. The difference is that it will be the demonrats and their old media allies being "frog marched" out to waiting prison buses."
"Somewhere in the middle of this entire story...is Judith Miller. And its curious her dedication to go to jail rather than tell the trail of her story. Novak didn't really hesitate...although he may not have told 100 percent of his story yet. It would be curious to ask Novak if he ever had any dealings with Miller...and if he hesitates...there is some type of trail then. And one other curious question...what kind of stories has Judith had in the past? Is she a strong Clinton-supporter?"
Don't waste time looking at Novak and Miller.
What needs to be investigated is what relationship did Miller have with Plame/Wilson before this bs hit in July 2003.
Many of us feel that she was told by Plame/Wilson about this sham. She then went to her NY Slimes Editors/Publisher and told them. They turned the story over to Cooper and told him to run with it.
Miller can't testify. If she did, it would bring down the Old Grey Whore, the Slimes and maybe the rest of the elite left coast media/mediots.
It seems certain that Miller isn't going to jail to protect Karl Rove.

PinochiJoe starts working for the Kerry campaign in May 2003, then releases his Op ED piece in July. Did that piece contain classified information? I don't think the Niger affair had been declassifed at that point.

Congressman Peter King believes that Pinocle Joe should go to jail for release of classified data in his involvement with this scam.
Several us who have had reasonably high clearances tried to hammer this point home back in the summer and fall of 2003. I wondered if Wilson revelations resulted in the death of any agents in Niger or our sources.
If Wilson's trip had been a "Kosher" trip, he would have signed secrecy agreements before and after his trip. Any disclosure afterwards by Wilson, as per Peter King's comment, would have been illegal.
Love it! ;)
No doubt they'd like to sell us a nice bridge, too.
They are trying to sell us a bridge right now.
The elite mediots of the MSM are basically saying that a lying left wing reporter, Judith Miller of the Slimes is in jail because she is protecting her source.
Then, they are trying to tell us, her source is Karl Rove.
They have totally lost it here.
Apparently she learned of the impending raid and called the "charity" a day or so before it was scheduled to get their comment for her article.
The shredding party ensued and there was therefore no way to get a conviction. The charity was, at least, put out of business and I believe that several key players were deported.
I think it more likely that Plame caught word of the British investigation of Niger, and sent Wilson there to warn the Niger government.
And why should she do this? Well, apparently Wilson had business ties in Niger (principal exports livestock, cowpeas, onions, and uranium). I don't think he was dealing in onions. Put this with his firm's ties to some of the people in the Oil for Food scandal, and my theory makes a lot more sense than believing this poseur was sent as an investigator.
Thanks for the alert and this feedback.
Just more proof that Miller is a scumbag, a DNC operative and a friend of the Jihadist.
Last but not least, she is not in jail to protect Rove, Cheney or GW.

Very interesting. I didn't realize his firm had connections with the Oil for Food Scandal.
Beers, Clarke, Wilson.......
There is a connection. According to an article in the March 29(2003) edition of Newsweek magazine, former Clinton terrorism advisor Richard Clarke's best friend, is none other than Kerry advisor Rand Beers. He's the one who contradicted his candidate on foreign endorsements after the ringing endorsement from anti-Semitic former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad.
All of this wrangling is sure to provide fodder for the presidential campaign. Clarke is perhaps not the most neutral source. Last year Clarke's best friend, Rand Beers, quit as the White House's counterterrorism chief after complainingover glasses of wine on Clarke's front porchabout the wrong-headedness of Bush's plan to invade Iraq. Beers is now a principal foreign-policy adviser to Kerry.
Both beers and Clarke, it should be noted, are former Clinton boyz who resigned from the Bush White House.
So we can link Clarke, through Beers, to Joe Wilson, the would-be frogmarcher and husband of that woman, Ms. Valerie Plame.
My friends, we are looking into the underbelly of candidate Kerry's underfunded cheap-smear machine.
Actually, I think it's the CLINTON shadow government that was formed when President Bush was first elected who is doing the smearing. They still have their war room.
Clarke, Beers, and Joe Wilson = equal the DNC's unholy trinity.
These bastards would destroy America to weaken or to electronically lynch GW.
Go figure. The CIA Headquarters' compound is officially named the George Bush Center for Intelligence after Bush 41. If there is any dislike for GWB, it is probably because they feel that they have been made the scapegoat for 9/11 and the invasion of Iraq. Probably deservedly so.
Oh goody! A chance to do my Teddy Kenutty immitation... "HELLO???"
Like on Rush's show... "HELLO???" "HELLO???" "HELLO???"
That's very interesting. Clifford May wrote a column suggesting that Wilson leaked information about his wife to David Corn . Corn wrote this in response:
Number of times I've been contacted by Patrick Fitzgerald, interviewed or contacted by his investigators, and called before the grand jury: 0
If the CIA didn't get the forgeries until October how could they leak them?
