Thank you for clarifying my comment, F16.

The GOP may control both houses, but they do have enough RINOs who like to be thought of as sympathetic, gracious and 'tolerant' and want to 'reach across the aisle'. They've done it before on issues important to Conservatives. What's to stop them from doing it now when they suffered no consequences or repercussions before? They seem to be sentimental about the days when they were the minority party anyway. I don't believe they'll 'disappoint' us on this either.
