Me too, but after 9/11/01 Buchanan started to lose it. On September 20, 2001 he wrote a column called
"U.S. Pays High Price of Empire" where he basically blamed the terrorist attacks on us. Then, after the war started in Iraq, Buchanan completely went kooky.
