You don't believe this has ANYTHING to do with the SCOTUS issue? The dems are doing ANYTHING they can to delay the confirmation hearings and Spector will accommodate them as well as he can. The dems are backed into a corner with 1 and possibly 2 more SCOTUS seats needing to be filled in the next few years. They are going to act like NO ONE has ever seen them act. This is all out war against not only the repubs, but on the US as well. All the dithering will stall needed legislation on border security and other important needs. (on the same note, other needless useless liberal crap will be avoided as well).

Possibly 2? You actually believe Rehnquist will make it through 3.5 more years? LOL, if I were a betting man I would put real money on there being 3 and maybe even 4 high court nominations for Bush to make.
