Ironically enough, it's San Diego's Democrats who should be in jail for high crimes and misdemeanors.

Are the Democrats in the final throes of dementia? I think they may be.

The Dems are lost. They are the severe-hard left party in American politics with no moderating influence in their ranks, with the Republicans occupying the center-right. Under this arrangement, it's doubtful we'll see the Democrats ever regain the majority in Congress or the White House any time soon. It is arguable that the great void in American politics is the "purist" conservative position, but until the "Constitution Party" or some other of its ilk can prove to be a force, the GOP is pretty much the horse to ride.
