Dudley has a computer, a tv, and I think a video game of some sort.
Your contentions regarding Joseph, Moses and Jesus are basically based upon their interpretations of the events in question. Your belief that these are "the real McCoy" cannot be substituted for evidence that that is the case.
Didn't take long to finish the book--3 and a half hours. Very light reading, especially given that we don't have to keep from going insane wading through 500 pages of forced teenage angst filler obviously forced by the publisher on Rowling so they could market a book "longer" than #4.
Wouldn't someone start a HP discussion thread?
I agree with her! Harry Potter Timeline
Don't be. Gregory Peck played Atticus Finch.
How "sadly misguided" of you to jump to the conclusion that that reference has ANYTHING to do with Bush, or even
Blair. Why would a REAL historical figure, especially Blair, be put into a book that is obviously fanstasy? You assume a lot.
All righty then re:
Gregory peck.
But what about George Bailey?!

No! Say it's not so!
We homeschool, so will be starting school on August 1 so that we can give ourselves a one month holiday in December and be ahead of schedule.
Why would she refer to the president as a wretched man on THE FIRST PAGE of her book, when neither the president or anything to do with him being "wretched" has a damn thing to do with the book? It's so obvious most of you don't want to recognize that billionaire British lib JK Rowling used the first page of her new book to take a swipe at the president. But I'm glad even some Freepers still believe in fairy tales.
So, it appears that she was really ripping a convicted liar, a sex weirdo, a man who was accused by about eight women, including his wife of rape. Wow!
"No! Say it's not so!"
LOL!
Finished it in 10 hours. Bring on the next and final book! For those seeing Bush bashing in the cute first chapter I see rather bashing of politicians in general. The PM could be anyone (except Lady Thatcher!), and the peripherally referred to President could be from many countries. France is probably the most mentioned non-British country in the series and the US has hardly been mentioned at all in the series. What isn't vague is the attitude throughout the series towards politicians and government agencies, which could have been written by written by Reagan.
Your wretched .
Need you ask? I'm an American, Bush is the first president who poped in my head.
It was said tongue in cheek...accept it as I meant it or move along.
Could the reason have been because the series is set in England, and all the main characters are English? Nah.
Well the impression I got from the interview was more like an American was a revolting thought. I believe it was on one of the movie DVDs I will see if I cam find it.
Cat What does this mean?"while you celebrate with your Internet dog tag another mass murderer and a rhythm guitarist fool! Imagine!"I
