In the game of poker, when one player (in this case, the America-haters) chooses to bluff, the wise opponent (in this case Dubya) doesn't offer a molecules worth of positive or negative interest.
The whole idea is to get the bluffer to commit more and more resources (in this case credibility for MSM and Dem candidates for the midterms).
Our little poker hand here is a living historical laboratory of cool leadership versus a mob using fictional charges to incite a lynching.

I dunno. At this point the Dems seem to be in for a penny, in for a pound. I wonder if the administration should start putting out the meme that "oh my god, if Karl Rove goes down, the President's Supreme Court picks will be DOA! It'll be total lame-duck time. All of his initiatives will be DOA. I really wonder who it was who leaked her name. Of course, now that the Dems' story is already starting to implode, maybe it's too late for such subtlety. Maybe when the final hammer is put down - the definitive revelation on just who it was who revealed Plame's status (ahem Wilson.)- Bush should go on TV and angrily denounce the person. Then, the next day, he calmly announces his SC pick.
When strong, appear weak or disinterested, when weak (read dems and MSM) act strong, if raised and when in danger, when in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout.
