CAIRO, Egypt -- Egyptian police Friday night were interrogating a 33-year-old biochemist seized here in connection with last week's London bombings, as relatives denied that he had anything to do with the deadly suicide blasts.
Cairo police seized Magdy el-Nashar at his parents' home in Bassateen, a poor suburb of the capital, the Egyptian Interior Ministry said in a statement. The doctoral graduate, who once studied chemical engineering in North Carolina, denied any connection with the London attacks and said he was in Cairo on vacation, the ministry reported. ...As Nashar underwent questioning by Egyptian authorities, it was unclear whether there were immediate plans to extradite him to Britain.

I wish our little biochemist the worst at the hands (feet, etc.) of the Egyptian authorities.
That is one dude who wishes he was at Club Gitmo instead of a stinking hole in Egypt where they are "extracting" information as we speak. I know I am having a far nicer day than he is. Hope he spills the beans and breaks his cell network. I lay odds he does.
What is it with North Carolina and jihadists? That's where Khalid Sheik Mohammed also studied when he was here in the U.S.
If it's in the L.A. Times, I don't believe it.
No it is here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1425452/posts
Different guy but we educated them both.
I would say that it pretty much "sucks to be him"
Jack
egyptian torture. Just do it.
I certainly hope they have proper Koran handling procedures in place, and that the air conditioning is set to the proper temperature.
