I read your replies on the thread, I really liked:
"Hamburg (July/August 1943), Dresden (February 1945), Kobe (February 1945), Tokyo (February 1945), and finally Hiroshima and Nagasaki (August 1945). WWII ended in 1945.
Need more research?"
I noticed that the MEChA-nized brigade did their best to turn the thread into a flame war and get it locked.

(On September 11th they hit our cities, we should level theirs.)

Thanks. While the Allied policy in WWII wasn't to rape, pillage or murder civilians, carpet bombings were common and openly considered as a legitimate means to demoralize the citizenry of the enemy. And it worked. Only through today's PC historical revisionism lens do we look back and think it was somehow wrong.
War is Hell. They started it, we finished it. And we should do the same now with equally unrestrained zeal. That our politicians don't allow this really irks me.

I for one love your research.
Could have been "Tehran ( September 2001), Baghdad (October 2001), WOT ended in 2001."
