At this point...I wish her identity was kept secret from US citizens.

I don't follow. If he meant she wasn't a clandestine officer from the point Novak published going forward, how is that inconsistent with saying she wasn't a clandestine officer when the VF article appeared? It would mean the same thing.

How about a reprise with Sure Connningly in You Only LIE Twice? LOL!!! That's great!
As I sit here, trying to get some work done, I'm getting a mental picture of Dan Rather, sitting in a rocking chair and muttering,
THE STORY IS TRUE...THE STORY IS TRUE...THE STORY IS TRUE...

Maybe we all have this wrong? Could it be that Valerie Plame is concerned she might have had the cover blown off her cookbook? After all, she might have been undercover for the Culinary Institute of America.

Makes ya really wonder about how many other statements Clown Wilson "clarified" while an ambassador. I'm sure he was a total laughingstock, as was the USSR ambassador on the old UK TV Show, "The Avengers" (the Emma Peel ones).

Blitzer also neglected to include any mention of Senate Select Committee on Intelligence report or Lord Butler report that skewered Wilson for LYING about everything. Now don't defunct "Lord Blitzer" for it could have been that the timing of his knowledge of this that his toupee could have flipped and distracted him.

Don't forget the Clinton connections. I think that's the reason Judith would rather stay in jail...she's still alive.

This has now become such a vicious circle, I have the same feeling that I got listening to the Rather "forgery" case.
We never did find out the "source" of the forgery, did we.,P>"Same game, different day".

I bet Dan is kicking himself for not using the same line as Joe Wilson, i.e.
(paraphrased) "We might have added a bit of literary flair."
If he had, he'd still be doing the evening news.

I have been listening to John Gibson....A letter went out saying everyone should avoid appearing on his show.
Well that's brilliant on the Rat's part. Let's get our message out but not an a station that LAPS THE FIELD 4 TO 1 IN VIEWERS.

To: lugsoul
Okay, I understand and I agree with your interpretation of what he said.
However, I will assert that once Valerie Plame married Joseph Wilson, career diplomat, she could no longer be of value as a covert agent... period. Therefore, Wilson was playing word games and denying the obvious. She was no longer a cladestine officer.
