Great post, and I will have to re-read it to fully digest it. Curious you asked about me being "born" a Jew. I had originally typed "raised" but changed it. I do not go to synagogue, but still consider myself Jewish. However, I have a deep love and respect for the NT, and while I have not taken any formal steps to become a Christian, I have not rejected the idea of Christ as the Son of God. I have spent more thought energy trying to recouncile the OT and NT than I care to remember. Perhaps a lot of my desire to understand the NT came from being married to a RC. To answer your questions: I associate being born Jewish with Judiasm the religion, not the ethnicity. But I percieve anti-Semitism (having been subjected to it on only rare occasions) as being opposed to both or either. I would still be Jewish by birth but not a practicing Jew.

I messed up the end of that last post.
Your second question was would I still be a Jew if I renounced God.
I would still be Jewish by birth, but not practicing.
