The Catholic Church started Christianity. Ummm... No. Jesus Christ is the Lord of heaven and earth. He is the author and finisher of our faith, not men. He created us, He redeemed us, He delivers us and He will make His home among us.

If that is the position of Catholics, then maybe this adoption agency is on to something...

Common misconception. The RCC did not "start Christianity". Furthermore, not all Christian churches are derived from the RCC. For example, my church began independantly and before the RCC.

Wait a minute. Is it your contention that The Messiah was a Roman Catholic?
You just said as much.

Jesus himself speaking:
Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
I believe it was Jesus himself who started Christianity.
Cordially,
GE
